Two years ago I celebrated a special time in my life by going to Moorea to swim w whales. Kelsey was so kind and easygoing and her sister made us many meals and the entire crew were funny and happy to be there. The trip allowed for group bonding but also I had an amazing private room and enough time to rest between swims and dinner. The days felt full but not overly so. I will always love Moorea and have worn a whale tale necklace everyday since the trip. I legit felt like a pack of mermaids swimming in those waters and there’s no great way to describe it except that I feel different after a week of those experiences. It was life changing, truly. If you are considering it just go for it. My bungalow was so awesome and beautiful and we had a fancy dinner one evening w the sunset and I was given a Tahitian birthday song. It really was a great trip and I’m sure I’ll be back soon.

Spending a week swimming with humpback whales on an expedition with Kelsey and Wanderout was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Being in the water with these magnificent animals is difficult to put into words. Every encounter felt completely different, and having the opportunity to observe humpback whales up close, in their natural environment, was genuinely magical. There were moments of pure awe that I will remember for the rest of my life. What made the expedition particularly special was the combination of adventure, education, and the amazing people on board. Kelsey made everyone feel comfortable and included, whether you were experienced in the water or experiencing something like this for the first time. If swimming with humpback whales is on your bucket list, I couldn’t recommend doing it with Wanderout more highly.

This was an incredible experience and the best trip I have ever been on! Kelsey went above and beyond for all of us. But what I love most about traveling to French Polynesia with Kelsey is she very much is in touch with the Polynesian culture and has taken the time to learn about the island and the language and gives back to the community. She has the best energy and we had the most amazing whale encounters that I will talk about for the rest of my life. 🐋

South Africa was beyond magical! It was 10 days of epic animal sightings, meaningful volunteer work at the rhino sanctuary and knowing that our donation went straight to further the cause of wildlife conversation in South Africa. The itinerary was incredible. The group of people I got to share it with were just amazing. Thank you Kelsey and Wander Out Expeditions for putting together an absolutely life changing trip!!

This was my 2nd trip with Kelsey, and once again she has excelled at pairing amazing wildlife experiences with ethical tourism. Every aspect of this trip was intentionally focused on conservation education from game drives, to volunteering in rhino rehabilitation, to observing wildlife vets in action. Everyone involved in this trip made it so special including our driver/chef Bob, and Leah and her mom who live and breathe conservation. This trip exceeded all my expectations. I have come home with new friends, a full heart, and a full camera roll!
